The Survey Team

The Patient and Public Involvement Survey Team which was established in 2006, provide a tailored service for Heart of England NHS staff and external customers wishing to create patient or staff satisfaction surveys.

By using an efficient in-house system we design, capture and analyze survey forms with the cost of surveying kept to a minimum, but without comprising accuracy by using the latest in data capture technology.

What do we offer?

    The service includes:
  • project management and sampling advice and support
  • questionnaire design and printing (download sample) | (download compressed version)
  • covering letter to patients (download sample)
  • all postage and reply envelope distribution
  • data entry, processing and analysis
  • final report including PowerPoint presentations.

How long will it take and how much will it cost?

A standard survey will take approximately three months to complete from initial questionnaire design to presentation of the results and the formulation of action plans. The service is free of charge to all Heart of England NHS staff.

View provisional charges per survey sample of 500 patients by post for all external customer (including all other NHS Trusts).

What will the outcome be?

We use carefully designed surveys to collect patient information to allow you to provide the best possible care for patients and help you to use your survey results to make improvements for patients.
